Description

Have a great quality of life with low cost of living, be able to pay your student loans, enjoy working for a locally owned, woman-owned practice, have team collaboration and individualized mentoring, and see a great variety of cases!

We are seeking associate veterinarians to return our team to a full four doctor roster. Opportunities to serve exotic patients are also available if you choose. Future partnership/ownership opportunities exist and can be discussed.

Hear what some of our team say about working here:

"When I first came here, I felt everyone was kind and respected me."

"I want to make every patient feel safe and comfortable so the vet's office is not a scary place."

"I love having a healthy work environment. People are helpful and problems are addressed. I get to practice the quality of care that I want to give my patients."

" I really enjoy learning new things. I like that we work hard on communication."

We are a locally owned and operated, multi-veterinarian small animal practice, serving and belonging to our community. Veterinary medical care has served our community from this site for over 80 years. We have great pride in our heritage and legacy as well as living in the present and looking to the future of veterinary medicine. We have been AAHA accredited for over 60 years, and we value the standards and level of care this helps us provide.

Our services include wellness care, internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, radiology, laboratory, abdominal and cardiac ultrasound, therapy laser, regenerative medicine, chronic pain management, and potential exotic services. After hour emergencies are referred to our local and regional emergency hospitals. We implement low stress handling for our patients and clients. Our goal is to form trusting relationships with our clients for the life of their pets and work together for the best quality of life possible for each patient. We are also very experienced in the mentorship of new grads.

We operate under the core values of trust, compassion, communication, professionalism, accountability, and commitment to the practice. Our team is our most important resource, and we strive for a friendly, professional atmosphere. We also enjoy activities outside the practice together. We care about our team as people as well as partners in our mission.

We want to be active in our community. We offer student career exploration internships, are involved with local schools, Bark for Life events, and volunteer time for local non-profit organizations. We believe we don’t just work here; we live here!

There is also easy access to water sports, outdoor activities, and professional sports venues, providing great work-life balance. Our community spans the length and breadth of Midwest living. We are home to major manufacturing for the RV and boating industries, as well as strong Mennonite and Amish communities. A vibrant performing arts and music scene offers outstanding opportunities, including the Lerner performing Arts Center, Premier Arts, the Elkhart Jazz Fest, and many other events. Our community enjoys multiple college environments and events from NAIA through Division 1. Botanical gardens, museums, and a multitude of local parks and outdoor activities are also available in the area and region.
