About iveterinarians.org

The Independent Veterinary Practitioners Association (IVPA) is the first nonprofit association dedicated to uniting and empowering independently owned and locally operated veterinarians in continuing to shape the business and practice of animal health care.

Why Donate?

Your generous support helps us achieve our goals of supporting independent veterinary practices and advocating for independent practices with authorities and influencers. Your donation may also support our Student Outreach programs or our IVPA State ambassadors (see below).

Would you like to do more to support student outreach?

Donate $1,000 to support a student summer intern. Your entire donation will go directly to a student who chooses to do a summer internship or externship at an independently owned and locally operated veterinary practice.

Support a student rep program at your veterinary school of choice for $2,500.  Your donation of $2,500 covers the cost of a student rep stipend for one year, and two live or virtual events to educate students about the value of working for and buying independently owned and locally operated veterinary practices.  You can choose to act as the IVPA student mentor or we can find a member to work with the student.

Would you like to do more to support IVPA’s mission to obtain a seat in the AVMA’s House of Delegates?

Donate $1,000 to support an IVPA ambassador in your state.  Funds will be used to allow an IVPA member to attend meetings, exhibit, lecture, and work with state and local veterinary medical associations to get the word out about the importance of independent practices.
