IVPA reserves the right to approve or deny all sponsors and remove their information from all IVPA marketing at any time should a conflict of interest arise or one of the conditions listed below be violated. IVPA Sponsorship is intended to support and sustain independently owned and locally operated veterinary practices.
Levels and Fees Effective 01/01/2024
- Give discounts, special offers, or pricing to any privately owned national practice group or publicly-traded veterinary practice groups where the Association (IVPA) is excluded from consideration or negotiation.
- Sit on the board or employed as a senior executive (director level or higher) of a publicly-traded veterinary practice, or a privately held national practice.
- Act as legal counsel to a publicly-traded or privately-owned national practice.
- Own a controlling or majority interest in a privately held national practice.
- Employed as a senior executive (director or higher) in a privately held national practice. Membership may be denied or restricted should an applicant privately own multiple practices, such that there would be little expectation the applicant could play a role in direct oversite of individual practices and would be considered to own a national practice.
