First, IVPA membership is FREE for students.

Take advantage of these opportunities:

  • 1st and 2nd-year vet students – Plans for summer? Check out these IVPA member practices who want to host you.
  • 1st and 2nd-year vet students – Interested in getting involved in veterinary medicine beyond the clinical experience this summer? IVPA has several available opportunities for students interested in completing a business-related project for one of our member practices.  Contact Dr. Marty Greer ([email protected]) for more information.

 

  • All vet students – Join IVPA for our annual Summer Student Rounds Program this May-August.

Want money for your internship or externship with an IVPA practice? All funds are currently allocated for 2023. Funds are allocated on a rolling basis as they become available, so feel free to apply at any time.

Join an IVPA committee – contact our Executive Director for Committee Details ([email protected])

Volunteer to take on a short or longer-term IVPA special project.

Project examples include:

  • Sourcing and producing monthly Facebook (or other social media) content
  • Summarizing data from surveys
  • Updating IVPA webpages with content from committees
